Who I am

I am Sahej, 21, and I write down what I learn as I go.

I work in the founder's office at Luminary, an AI education startup.

When I was 16, I started Humari Gullak to teach school students about money.

I have cleared two levels of CFA. I studied Finance at the University of London and graduated with First Class Honours.

Tools I have been learning

Luminary runs live AI courses for founders and senior leaders.

2022

Instagram

It began as an Instagram page that explained money in plain words. I tried to make the reels funny and relatable, and at the same time informative and useful. I also wrote a few articles, on Bitcoin, inflation and mutual funds. The page grew to about 1,000 followers.

2023

Talks at companies

I could see the likes and comments, but I couldn't tell whether anyone was actually learning. So I started giving talks at companies, where I could explain things face to face and answer people's questions. The biggest was for more than 150 people at ATMS, and another was at TBNG.
2024

We built a curriculum

But the gap I started with was in schools, and to reach students properly I needed a curriculum. Nehal Kansara, a college finance professor, joined as our advisor and designed the lessons with me.
2025

The regional finals

With the plan ready, I took Humari Gullak to competitions. In 2025 I pitched at the Entrepreneurs' Organization's Global Student Entrepreneur Awards, and made it to the regional finals. Standing in front of a table of entrepreneurs with something I had started as an Instagram page at 16 was the high point of Humari Gullak.
